    Is 4890 better than 5850?

  • lancernos

    9800gt/9800gtx/gts250 – hd4850

    gtx260 – hd4870

    gtx275 (some reviews put in gtx280/285) – hd4890

is that a non reference XFX? becuz the non reference from XFX suck butt, they OC like shit. But yeah, even so, with the games I play and the the res i play at, i dont even need to OC my 4890 :P Play MW2 maxed at 1920×1080, man gotta love this card XD

  • blueclaydude500

I compared the gtx 280 to the 4890 and the 4890 beats It XD, plus It’s super overclock able I love ATI and yes i have owned nvidia card and the ATI card’s gave my lower temps, better overclocking the same or better performance and the driver’s are not shit they work better then the nvidia one’s plus you get overdrive nvidia fan boy should shut the fuck up and try both I did and I know witch is better and there a lot fucking cheaper nuf said XD.

  • blueclaydude500

well I get 60c max at 70% fan and clocks 925/1150 ideal temps at 50% fan 41c-32c XFX 4890 I love this card :D .

  • PcMrGaming

can i use a nox urano with it and keep it cooled down?

  • john33991

    4870 im getting!!!!!

  • kpopsaranghaex3

    and yes he is…

a 4890 is way better than a gtx 260…. and they are the same price so the 4890’s would be much better bang for your buck. at stock its pretty much the same or better than gtx 275, and when u start using the huge overclock headroom the 4890 has, it can get very similar performance to a gtx 285.

    SO… definitely 2 4890s :P

  • kpopsaranghaex3

    wow no offense,
but u got a reallly shitty 4890 then lol. my fan doesnt start making noticeable noise until like 60% O.o and my temps only rise to 72-73 C when i play crysis. and that is overclocked at 900/1000 instead of the stock 850/975.

  • wwwwwoooeeee

thats why it exists after market coolers =)

  • KXEnKO

4890 is a good videocard but it is too noisy even if you set 40% rpm it sounds anoying and cooling system sucks.
when i play crysis the temperature rises up to 85 and the game starts to lag hard and even may close with error. :(

  • getlow1985

yes 4890 is like gtx 275 or better

  • csplayer12345

    @getlow1985 are you serious

  • csplayer12345
